Andrew McGlinchey is a name that created a lot of buzz in the Information Technology Industry. Coming from Europe with no kids, yet, Andrew McGlinchey is the man behind the success of Windows Vista. Andrew McGlinchey is employed at Microsoft and he is the Vista Control Panel Program Manager. He basically takes charge that everything goes well and that all the tasks move towards development. Andrew is included in the group called the Natural User Interface group. The aim of the group is to ensure that most of the population can easily get what they want directly from computers with ease by using simple commands like the human voice hence, Windows Vista's Speech Recognition and many more features. Andrew admits that his team has a long way more to go but he knows that they can achieve everything because of all the hard work that they put into the projects. Thus, his job is a great opportunity to improve lives of so many people in countless industries with different cultures, which then becomes such an overwhelming and exhilarating job.
Andrew took up Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Science as his degree at the University of Toronto. This was just a step. All of his accomplishments can be attributed to his great analytical skills, leadership skills and his unbelievable mind and thinking process. Moreover, it is the passion for what he does that makes him so successful.
